Games for everyone.

AccessibilityX makes games playable without normal controls - with your face, your voice, or one small move - for anyone who can't use a controller, or has lost the use of one.

"This is literally a community: here it is, feedback, make it better, everyone included. No profit, no money, just do it because it's the right thing to do." - Steve, founder

Face Run - play Hop Stop with your face or voice

Open Face Run

Works on a phone or a computer with a front camera, in Chrome or Safari. It is an early version: it will not be perfect, and that's why your feedback matters.

  1. Open the link and choose how you want to play (you can change it any time with SETTINGS).
  2. Press START CAMERA and allow the camera. Your face is read on your own device - nothing is uploaded.
  3. Teach your moves. It shows a big picture of you and asks for each move. Do it, relax, do it again. Take your time: it waits for you.
  4. Play. The first move starts the game. The little circle shows what it sees: it fills as you make a move.

Ways to play

OptionWhat you do
4 movesOne face move per direction. Default: smile = forward, raise eyebrows = back, half smile left / right = left / right. Swap any of them for open mouth, pucker, lips to one side, scrunch nose, glance or head tilt.
1 moveJust one face move. An arrow cycles left, forward, right - make your move when it points the way you want.
VoiceSay HOP, LEFT, RIGHT, BACK, PAUSE, PLAY. Use it with face moves or on its own (no camera). Your browser's speech service turns your voice into words - on Chrome that means Google.
